Bio / Profile (if you like you can add a video profile but it would be good for you to form a brief highly descriptive paragraph about you and your music!)
Lonny Ray, an Award winning American Country Music Songwriter, was born in a northern suburb of Detroit Michigan. He learned to over come adversity at a very young age. He was raised on the streets of the Big Three town in which he ran. His songs are an array of adversities and experiences that influence him today. “Lonny Ray has extraordinary chops: a hybrid of folk, country and contemporary. "That Summer Again" expounds on a time two people were able to meet and share a memorable life experience. Often times, we forget that life isn't just about short-term conspicuous gain or loss but it's the romance that we truly value and treasure in our lifetime. The ability to love is powerfully conveyed in his new release - an extremely nostalgic piece of work. Vocals are strong, along with great production and effortless instrumentation. This award-winning musician's sophistication, poise and ability to interpret provocative lyrics have landed him a spot on our #360WatchList.” (360 Mag ) “A country boy down to his bones, Lonny Ray knew what his heart desired at the age of three, and that was to be a country music artist and he has been making his dream come true. Ray has many influences when it comes to music, including his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Ray is currently on the soundtrack for the 2014 motion picture 50 to 1 starring Skeet Ulrich, Christian Kane and William Duvane, produced by Academy Award® winner Jim Wilson, and was excited about the experience. Ray took time out to sit down with New Mexico Entertainment to talk about his childhood, his career and what the future holds." (New Mexico Entertainment Magazine) His songs have been in the hit Showtime Series Dexter, CBS NCIS, WEtv Texas Multi Mama's, A&E Combat Pawn. Hallmark Channel Movie Appetite For Love, Boston Red Sox Radio and several other television shows as well as the 2014 motion picture 50 to 1 starring Skeet Ulrich, Christian Kane and William Duvane, produced by Academy Award winner Jim Wilson, (Dances With Wolves). “ Whether it's writing songs, singin' 'em, or playing for an audience, Lonny Ray is a born entertainer...and a damn fine one at that!"
