Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in NYC (NYU '29). I play piano, guitar, bass, drums and violin, and I build my live sets by looping the parts myself in real time, so the whole arrangement gets assembled in front of the room. My debut single "Sky" is out October 15, 2026: I wrote it, sang every vocal, played every instrument, and mixed and mastered it with my mentor Jim Klein, whose teaching line runs back to bebop pioneer Billy Bauer. I stutter when I speak and never when I sing, and Sky is what that sounds like. My performance videos have passed 13 million views (@arsalijazmusic on Instagram and TikTok). I live across the street from the Bitter End and I'm here to write, play, and learn from the room.
